EPIC 100K for the PADs Foundation

On the 19th of October, Emily will be running an EPIC 100K for the PADs Foundation – that’s over TWO MARATHONS! Emily will be participating in the Maverick Jurassic, a 100K off-road race starting at Hardy’s Monument near Dorchester and ending near Corfe Castle.

“I am training daily, which includes swims of 2-3K, runs of 5-11K, and cycling 50-100K depending on the schedule my coach has set for me. After completing the Green Man Ultra 75K in Bristol earlier this year, I wanted to push myself further in both distance and elevation for my next challenge.”

Emily is a veterinarian, and when she isn’t training, she works as a farm vet in Wiltshire.  “I know how special animals are to people, whether they are part of their livelihood or their family. I believe what PADs is doing is incredibly important as it raises awareness for mental health and empowers people to access the training and support they need, making a real impact in their lives.”
